May is a magical month. For those of us who rejoice at seeing greenery and flowers after a snowy winter, it is a time for remembering what keeps our hearts smiling through it all: grandchildren. After all, nurturing our littlest family members, whether they live in our neighborhood or halfway around the world, is one of the delights of this and every season--even if we can't always see the results right away. Just as the bulbs we planted last fall will surely pop up to greet us this spring, so too will the thoughtful, creative messages and activities we send and do today keep us close to our little gigglers.
